Our History
Above The Standard Show Series was started by Mat and Ashley Brown of Above The Standard, LLC in 2018 with the first annual “Riding for Ribbons” benefit show raising over $5,000 for a childhood friend who was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. We are thrilled to report that Maggie has been cancer free for the past year!
In 2019 ATSSS hosted a series of shows including our Summer Celebration where we gave out over $7,500 in prize money in Derbies and Classics. The 2nd Annual Riding for Ribbons benefit show where we raised over $5,000 for Operation Homefront.
In 2020 ATSSS expanded its schedule and now offers points at all Bridge Acres and Silver Moon Show Series shows with more show series to be added for 2021 calendar year.
We are excited for the journey we started and are thrilled to bring back unique class ideas with awesome prizes and ribbons to the local horse show market. We hope to see all equestrians and horses alike at future shows!
